Bad news
found a dead baby O H in the drive yesterday
maybe the mother layed some eggs and I saw her leaving before they hatched
(instinct to prevent the mother eating her young)

Security levels have recently been raised to 'accute phobia'.
The only 'incidents' I've heard about with cobra's involved them lunging at motosai's, and not very expertly. They don't seem very aggressive to me, compared to the mamba's and aussie snakes of this world.
^ What about the bloke who got savaged to death by one in Nottingham the other day? A totally unprovoked assault..
^I ran over a huge one which spanned the dirt road I was riding on near Aranyaprathet years ago - came very close to flipping the bike ('58 Triumph Tiger T-110). When I first saw something glistening in the road ahead of me, I thought it was water which had collected in a slight depression in the road. By the time I saw what it actually was, all I could do was try to get my legs up over the handlebars.

These serpents should largely be looked upon as a benefit, less a detriment.
Can't imagine our disgust with the numbers of other more potential harmful critters, if your snake friends were not around to diminish the swelling populations.
The lifeforms that should be of suspect are the two-legged upright hominid types. The truer of the destructive force.
And i have a freaky fit over a tiny little spider.... I wouldn't survive oot there...
