    Question High Quality English School

Does anybody know of a high quality English school in Bangkok?

My wife learned most of her English from farang colleagues, but she never got any good formal language training. When she speak English it's close to fluent, but she avoids reading and writing like the plague.

It would be great if we were able to share my newspaper, etc., so we are looking for a great English school that can make her 100% fluent, fix her strange English grammar and make her better at reading and writing.

Any ideas where she should go? It has to be in Bangkok and we surely don't mind if it cost less than a million THB a month.

I get my missus to listen to the BBC World channel on TV and repeat sentences.
I reckon thats a decent way for correct pronouciation and grammar to improve.
Its free and no whoremongering slime ball farang "teacher" is anywhere near her

I don't even dare to let her meet you after reading an old post of yours about having multiple girlfriends at the same time.

But that wouldn't help on her reading and writing... and I don't have patience enough to teach anybody.

we would need to know where you come from first...

I mean no good sending her to a pommie school to learn the Queen's english only for you to adulterate it with some seppo slang when she got home...

    or vice versa...

NAVA Language school. I used to work for this school and they cater to your needs well, as well as having great resources and teachers there. There are several locations throughout bkk, I am sure you could look it up on the internet or just dial 1133 on your mobile and ask for NAVA language school/center

okay so you speak european English...Bkks best is undoubtedly The British Council on the basis that (1) they only employ people with an education degree (2) they only employ people from the UK...none of this 'native-speaker only' BS...

the only negative is the students who study there tend to be a bit snobby when it comes to people's backgrounds...

I'm from the land downunder so have no vested interest in my answers...

Snobby... how will that affect my personal babe (b.sc., but from the countryside. Everyone else in her family are farmers)

Of course, the BBC isn't what it used to be! She might end up sounding like Lise Doucette.
