    Free to air english TV

Does anyone know what is the best satelite for free to air english channels. I have the settings for the Australian network sat and will try it today, any idea of how many channels I will get with a simple free to air. It is SCPC/MCPC and DVB-S compatible

The Malaysian Astro looks like the best one we can get. They seem to have lots of small packages for about 300 Baht a month each.

JSAT will be able to sort you out.

I think the bit where he said:

what is the best satelite for free to air english channels
    probably rules that out

Thaicom 5 looks your best bet:

^^ Rigger's loaded, so I'm sure a few hundred baht a month won't hurt him.

^ DO you know what sat system they are trying to receive?

I need 5 systems and then split them into two rooms. I am tring to get the Aussie network. IS-8/PAS-8 should be easy to get.
I all ready have two UBC systems at home and I dont really want a pay set up for this.

^ I'd fuck UBC off and just go with Astro.

I have DVB-S compatible sat system that I am trying to get the english free channels. The dish and sat cost 2990 baht. Testing this set up and if the channels are ok I will buy more. The system must be able to be moved and work in the central to North north east area.
What more do you need to know the Australian network is on the IS-8 or Pas-8 sat and can be received all over Thailand.

Have those coke bottle glasses turned you into a gold fish and you now have a memory of about 3 seconds

Check with Thai Pom, he has a sat with pretty much exactly what you want. Don't know if about the costs though. It was a one time payment.
