just a quick poll before i go down to the city to purchase one. i reckon 2,000 litres ought to see us through the infrequent droughts. not thinking of one of those blue or steel tanks, they look ugly imo, unless well hidden.

I've got one of those ugly stainless steel ones...
Mines five 1.5 metre concrete rings buried in the ground with a concrete floor and sealed. Gives me 8000 to 9000 litres.
Mine is underground so color doesn't matter. 2000 litre. I've never used less then half a tank even when no water for several days.
I've got approx 240, 000 litres underground. It used to be cement coloured, but I don't know now.
my water tank takes three long necks before it requires emptying these days
1,500 liters, but it's in the shed with the filter and pump. Just me and wifey, and we haven't watered the lawn in six months.
My water bill came yesterday: 68 baht.
Just killin' me this place.
