    pool chemical black algaetrine how much do you use in a swiiming pool

    does anyone know the amount of black algaetrine you use i a swimming to kill algae
    our pool is 12mx7mx1.5 m and i think the correct amount to use in it is 1.5 litres
    but i cannot find any thing on google to confirm this is the right amount to use has anyone used this chemical in their pool and does it do a good job of permanently killing the algae

    Your pool is 126m3, and the recommended application is 180cc per 19m3 every 5 days (in your case, 1200cc approx).

    no but its kills all types of algae. i just thought i would give it a try if needed
    currently using copper sulfate i add 300to400 grams to the pool if the water starts turning green and the water clears very quickly
    with no side effects green hair etc

    I do have a question Peter, have you determined why you seem to have a lot of algae? I remember you have posted a few times before about algae issues?

    i think its caused by the tropical climate in phuket lots of other pool owners have the same problem here
    the pool water gets quite warm after a few days of sunshine which causes the algae to grow very quickly
    copper sulfate has controlled it so far but i have to use a decent amount each time 300 to 400 grams every 2 to 3 months
