    Happy Loy Krathong

    Happy Loy Krathong everybody!!
    Did you make a wish?
Last year's wish of world domination didn't exactly come trough and I am starting to lose my believe in Loy Krathong. First Santa Clause now this. What's next the tooth ferry?

My wife has said it is Nov 8th (tomorrow). That is what I was told as well when I was helping to set up the festivities down at the river.

    Regardless BB, Happy Loy Krathong

    ^ Phew...

I've already missed the wedding anniversary and Birthday this year. Didn't want to make it the hat trick.

All I have to do is remember for the next 12 hours or so.

Doing a google search, and indeed it's tomorrow. It seems like my wife steered wrong, no wonder my wish for world domination did not came true last year.
My faith in the Krathong fairy is restored, I will try again tomorrow.

Welllllllll...let the festival games begin..... Started with a wonderful mooban leader announcement with some very nice Thai Northern music for about 30 minutes, then fireworks around 8am, then at 9am this took flight......

First balloon with fireworks popping off as it headed up.

Actually it was BB. Beautiful morning and weather. Being my FIL and I helped set up and build items down at the river for tonight's celebration and contributed 1k baht to buy food and beverages for the people building it all, It should be fun tonight. The lanterns end up all over but I guess that's all part of it. I clean up what I see around the mooban. Easy to do on my bike ride. Wife also has bags of candles to set up around our place for this evening. We do this every year. Pics coming later.

You must be in the wrong century. But you doubtless fit in fine.
