    Having Filipina GF in Thailand?

Not sure where this should be posted, but Moderator can move it.

I am looking foranyone with experience/knowledge of having a Filipina gf/wife andliving in a different country.

Sadly, I have hadbad experience over a period of 20+ years with marrying/divorcing 3Filipinas, but it was my fault for taking them to the US. The US isgreat, but there are too many choices here. They find out that theyare wanted by a lot of men, and it is easy to find a younger, richer, and better looking one.

Having a young andattractive Filipina in the US is like a drop of blood in the oceanfor sharks. The men come swarming around. They don’t care if sheis married or not.

Because of that, andI don’t really like living in the Philippines (lived there over 5years), I thought that the best thing for me would be to have aFilipina gf and live in another country like Thailand where her“value” wouldn’t be great like it is in the US.

Regarding visas andother things, I don’t know how hard that would be.

    Comments/suggestions.

    Thanks

Why does your next partner have to be Filipina?

Is it like how some people just favour Toyotas?

You can try to hire her as your maid through an agency or something along those lines.

If you're thinking of getting her a retirement visa, you're doing it wrong.

The whole thread is a bit of ahead-shaking moment . . . from a very superficial and insecure person

Well you're a stayer (or a sucker for punishment). Why not- there are quite a few flippas in Thailand, mostly teaching inglese. If they're not crazy enough for you, you can always try some local spice.

The OP's post is utter cringe & rolleyes.

Main issue that I see with his plan: visa issues (esp if she's a GF & not his wife).

@dirk - hire her as a maid? Seriously??!

^ Yes, Katie. I agree. The racism and misogyny displayed in that post is definitely cringworthy.

Because it was likely intended as such.

A troll, deliberate syntax errors etc. included.

As a loophole to obtaining a visa and work permit. She doesn’t actually have to be his maid and he doesn’t actually have to pay her. But let’s be honest she probably is and he probably does.

Loopholes are legal even if they are frowned upon.

No insult intended, only a suggestion.

A better option is to increase your own "value". Won't matter what country you're in either. Gold is still gold.

Me and the wife plan on visiting her family and the we're off to Phuket or Pattaya. I've been to the equivalents in Phills and they just don't stack up. She's looking forward to checking out Thailand

'You and the wife' . . . do you introduce her as 'your flippie' when you're there as well?

Anyway - what are the equivalents of Phuket or Pattaya in the PIs? What are you looking for . . . as there are literally thousands of islands to choose from . . . Panay, Boracay . . .
