    Computer Monitor

My Teelac and myself have just moved into a Condo in Jomtien Beach. Both of us arrived with a couple of suitcases, and have been shopping daily for stuff to live with.

We need a few extra things - Can anybody help whit where to buy used/cheap items such as:
    Toaster
Computer Monitor (I brought my desktop from the U.S.)
    Computer table, etc.

We have been spending silly setting up house, and some help in saving a little money would be a big help.

Don't know how long you've been in the area, but in one of the major supermarkets like Big C or Tesco Lotus you should be able to find what you are looking for at competitive prices. Assuming you want to buy new stuff, that is.

Actually, a used one would be fine. My mate from tawan will be bringing me a LCD display in a month or so.

Meanwhile, I need to check my mail.

    Thanx

Go down South Pattaya Road until you hit this big Computer Tech building (it's just past the Day/Night hotel). On the 4th floor (I think) there's a guy selling computer monitors. Went there yesterday to pick up an internet cable. Not sure how much they are, but there are loads of shops in that building.

Maybe try Big C or Lotus, then.

Or steal one from your work.

You are gonna have to buy most things new here in the LOS, I was surprised there was not much second hand gear here as well. My wife looked at me like I was a retard when I suggested a second hand bed frame.

Now that I think about it, why the hell would you want to buy a used computer monitor anyway? They usually only have a lifespan of a few years, and you don't know how the previous owner treated it. It would suck to purchase the thing and then 2 months later it died on you.
