So, my BritShop order came yesterday. Took a while as I ordered it Friday afternoon, but they did not start sending it until monday morning. Fair enough. It was a sampling selection, some sausages, pastrami, a few pies, lamb chops and a couple of curries. Only so far tried the pastrami, and it was a huge disappointment. Thin, brittle slices, with each slice being 50% fat at a minimum. Not pleasant at all.

Hope the other things are better

Britishop's pork pie looks fatty too.

I find these people quite good, OK I'm local so visit the actual shop, but they do deliver Thailand wide.

Trusting any of those fuckers to transport unregulated heavily salted and peppered meat products with no sell by dates around a Country the size of Thailand is just begging for botulism.

I have ordered once from Villa Market. Mostly potato chip snack stuff, Chili beans, Kosher Dil pickles, Spicy mustard, Olives and it went well. All packed nicely. My wife just did another order with them yesterday for some American Cheddar cheeses I like but she called them to make sure it was clear what I wanted.

I have also been looking at this place.

Passion Delivery - Thailandís leading online marketplace for high quality food and drink.

I am considering buying a slab of ribeye and then cut them to my size liking and vacuum seal and freeze. Haven't ran out of my current supply yet but will soon.

Also, If anyone is interested in buying live Lobster, Tiger Prawns and King crab let me know. My wife found a FB business and they have been outstanding. Everything that has arrived here has been very much alive and fresh. They will send you vids and pics of what is being packed, the weight and deliver in 1 day. (Few pics below from a delivery about a week ago)

This is great thread being with all of Thailand pretty much locked down and all staying at home, having options to get the foods we like is nice. While the business list is nice, reviews from the services is greatly appreciated. While price is always a consideration, I would easily forego that cost if the product quality and delivery were excellent.

Also BTW, The last pic in the lower corner that is not my foot. Its my FILs....

    ^ Mendip is you FIL?

On a more serious note. Any chance of posting a link of the FB page or prices by the kilo of the lobsters?

Can get prawns and the standard crabs, but not live lobster or Alaskan king crabs so easily.

Just did a search on FB for Live Lobster Thailand, came up with this:

    Log in to Facebook

Perhaps the same as JPR's source?

The food I'd ordered was packed on Monday afternoon in styrofoam boxes with dry ice on the bottom and the contents was freezer cold when delivered on Tuesday afternoon.
Pattaya to Samui in 24 hours by Inter Express, not transported by that kind of slow bus you are driving.

. I hate that damn table. I have been trying to toss it in the trash for years. Its a wobbly piece of junk. By not finishing the wood I am hoping it will rot away. As luck would have it the wood seems really durable. I told my wife, Use at a serving table at my funeral and burn the table with me.

I think Mendy prefers Steak similar to his Jesus slippers. You can gnaw on it for hours, then give it to the dogs for a session.

Britishop refunded me for the Haddocks because the had no stock. The jalapeno cheddar sausages were good, but we battered and deep fried them so everything tastes good this way. The beef pate is not great, but i've never strayed from duck or chicken pate before. Looking forward to my kippers though.

Got one part of my Villa Market delivery today. Dry snacks.

Should get my cheese assortment by Friday/Saturday. Coming separate as they have to send it chilled

There were, indeed, carrots. It was quite OK to be honest. But the fact that I was starving on account of having missed breakfast and sat through a nearly 5 hour on line meeting may have increased my appreciation of it.
