    Lost me purse

Flying out of me back pocket when on me motorbike. (shorts pocket with no button.)

5 credit cards/debit cards. (canceled quickly once home)

Few bits o' paper with some royalty on them.

2 driving licenses - car and motorbike

    Thai ID card.

    Copy of my passport

Various supermarket cards of which 2 are usually used (Makro and the one for Central)

    Photos of kid.

A few cards for paying bills - 2 internet companies.

All in all: A ball ache.

Thai ID card has my condo address. The DLs have house address. Don't think either have my phone number on them.

Whatcha reckon the chances are of the kind hearted Buddhist local that picks it up handing it into the condo office? Or taking out the money and mailing it back?

Will wait a few days before going through the pain of doing the Thai ID card and 2 driving licences. Which I'm pretty sure all require a formal police report.

Anyone gone through the process of pain?

An amount I'd happily double should someone knock on the door.

84 baht is a lot to Thais.

(think around 2,700 baht or so. Least of the worries when having to do the Thai ID card and Driving Licenses police form run. Gonna take 1 or 2 days of dealing with Thais in offices to sort them out. But first the various Thai banks to get new cards, don't really feel like flying back home to deal with the home banks and then spend 14 days in quarantine trying to get back. Chrissy with Mendip drinking cider I reckon )

    Were you walking funny afterwards?

On the upside, the kid learned some new words when I got home.

Just hope she doesn't use them.

I lost my credit card at a ATM on the street in Thailand. Some random person noticed it was probably mine when he found it. He chased me down and handed it to me.

No but if I'd have got my hands on the prick who got my wallet with all the same sort of shit in it you've lost, he would have been. The only bright part of licence replacement is you're in and out faster than the mugs getting/renewing their licences.

Just to add for anyone who doesn't know, there's an App called DLT QR Licence available for your smart-phone. It's legal to use it instead of carrying your plastic licence.

Yeah, only have a year left on one of the driving licences. Wonder if I could slip a brown note or two to rebump it up to 5. Not that I have a brown note or two now.

Something similar happened to me in Thailand. I traced my steps back all the way to the last shop I visited and there it was, next to the smiling cashier.

You never know, it could be your lucky day...

Nope, illegally u-turned all the way back to where I was driving and thought 'I better really sit on this as there's no pocket button and it's really sticking out, could easily slip out and then I'd be really foked' but no dice.

Doubt it. Unbelievably, it's not possible to do business with the local DLT in Pattaya and never has been either, so I'm assuming its the same nation wide. I'd imagine you know the trick of renewing your 5 year licence a few days after your birthday, that'll give you 6 years validity.

I guess it depends on where it landed.
If in the roadside high vegetation then your chances of seeing it again is slim.

Either you’re colourblind or those were ten baht notes and they haven’t been legal tender for years.

2 lane city road, though I have already realized that I was driving like a bit of a koont between all the lights, and if one of the scooters behind picked it up, it would have made their day.

    Hope you get it back.

Have a couple of similar experiences, left my money belt in a shop in Mindoro many moons ago, my whole life was in the bag, the shop owner ran after me to give all back, well rewarded lady.

Left my wallet in back seat of Taxi, in BKK, enough said everything gone.

One time , while walking in the street a guy bumped in to me, and while walking away I noticed he was holding my wallet.
Mother Focker I yelled and run after him, the moment he saw me coming for him , he took of.
That's where my daily morning 5 K run came handy, I chased him, and as he run out of breath I caught up with him , beat the crap out of him, and took my wallet back
Walking away with a satisfied look in my face, and a feel of justice and victory, I put my wallet back in my pocket, only to find out that my wallet was there and had never left , and I just chased , beat up and stole some poor guys wallet, .

Real story, really, almost as real as trumps win in the election LOL !!
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

The time of the OP is a clue also. His story indicates that he was riding his bike during the day, but this story has been posted much later in the evening.
