What kind of bird is this?

Stuck in Florida with the Covid travel restrictions, and reduced to looking at my Thai home trough my security cameras.
This morning I got a motion alert and the picture of this beautiful bird.
Can someone tell me what kind of bird it is? Sorry for the Thumbnail. today the TD picture Hitler will only allow me to post Thumbnails, for a better look, click on thumbnail.
One of the meany pleasures of login on to TD it is to see how the picture editor will behave today. Every dau is a new adventure.

Those mynahs are clever. The plastic cat with the shiny eyes which set atop my car didn’t fool them. The rest of the birds stayed away. The mynahs brought in their whole family to live in the rafters of the car port.

And how did you make my picture bigger. If I left double click the thumbnail it simply opens the picture id I right double click I get a drop down box with options non of which is making my picture bigger.
I will try posting with my tablet. Perhaps the problem is with my lop top.

You can click on the pic to highlight it. Then click the second option A/A at the top of your reply box.

That is a good pic from a security camera. Any brand you'd recommend?

If you're in the market fora. very good system I can only recommend Arlo units . . . We have four cameras and the following is just a sample pic of two . . . it can livestream to your phone, let's you know camera battery levels etc . . . oh yes - very fuck-off loud speakers for the alarm . . and you can scream at anyone anytime from thousands of km away as well if you wish . . . brilliant

Tried a few other brands, Arlo ticks all the boxes

Very clear pics. I like that talkback feature or whatever it's called. I have seen some videos of it in action:
"You, in the blue shirt. Yes, you. The police are on their way and they have your picture already. You'd better run. I said, RUN."

Yup - never used it in need as we have a judge and police chief in our little cul de sac, lots of protection, but it's fun to scare the kids or tell them off even when I'm in Malaysia . . .

    Really recommend the system

I had my system professionally installed a few years ago and it was not cheap, if I had to do it again I agree with Panama Jack Arlo is a very good system and it is wireless. you can stick a camera anywhere and if you don't like the location simply move it to a new location. If I remember correctly, they are magnetic, so they stick to any ferrous surface ot you can attach a small metal base on the wall and then the camera sticks to it. If I had to do it again I would go with Arlo or a similar system.
I also love the" voice" on my camera . My poor dog sits outside our front door every day waiting for us to return. (So Sad), good thing we have people who take care of them. I talk to him trough the camera, but it confuses the hell out of him LOL
It is night time in Thailand now.

When we left we thought we will be back in three , four months. and we have my wife's sister who lives next door, to take care of them , then when the virus started, we thought that we will wait a bit to see how it plays out , then we got trapped here. Now I guess my wife could repatriate as a Thai , and perhaps I could get permission as a husband to come with her. but from Florida it is a long haul. 24 hr trip with at least one transfer, most likely two. And I have a serious heart condition that if monitored is not a problem and i can live to be 100, but if I get the Covid 19 depending on how my body reacts to it , could be fatal. So I think we will wait until September , by then this thing should have shorted it's self out. I read reports that in India, they will star distributing a vaccine mid August. If it happens then by mid September we will know if it is safe. and perhaps everyone else will start distributing it.
Anyway we will see, but for now we are stuck here.

Allow me to demonstrate, kind sir:

Just took the camera off the mounting, it attaches via a magnetic back - no need for cables, power etc...

As Buckaroo said, not cheap, but the best that we've tried
