And lets not forget to hit upon the most frowned upon holiday by you bunch of curmudgeons: its Xmas day in 3 weeks time today.
Get the Santas hat out and animated snow that went down so well Techie Lu. And try not to fuck up the forum again

Hope you guys don't forget that it's National Microwave Oven Day on the 6th of this month.
Gonna be a humdinger for sure.

^ Didn't want to mention that because it's a bit late in the day and some members might have missed it already.
Better then that, there is an Apostrophe protection society!
---
Apostrophe Protection Society closes its doors, announcing that 'the ignorance and laziness present in modern times have won!'
John Richards has dedicated his life to stamping out the misuse of apostrophes.
Key points:
- British journalist and subeditor John Richards founded the group to combat what he saw as the "amazing" misuse of the apostrophe
- At 96, he can no longer keep up with what he believes is an increase in crimes against punctuation
- A language researcher disagrees, saying the rules around apostrophes have always been confusing and illogical
But at the age of 96 he's calling it a day, admitting it's all become a bit too much.
Mr Richards is closing down the Apostrophe Protection Society, which he founded in 2001 when he retired from a decades-long career as a newspaper reporter and subeditor.
Strange day today
Some International schools are open
^ This explains a lot.
The school run through Korat this morning took 45 minutes instead of the usual 1 hour 15. I see now why the roads were so quiet.
And yes, my daughter's school was open! (I'd have been well pissed off if it wasn't - been there... done that before)
