why cant thais close bottles??????

well this is something i noticed from day 1...
i traveled all over malaysia and indonesia and when you live with an indonesian all their bottles and jars are closed whe not used.. same with doors cupboards car doors ect..
when coming to thailand its the opposite.. whenever you see a bottle you should consider that shiny ol cap is not screwed on and pick it up gingerly.. that goes for a salt shaker any car or any other closable thing..

now every female ive asked here has just said "falagan make boootiw tooo taaii.. " they think the closed bottles or taps or whatever are to tight for them to open so they just leave them off or put the on loose.. (dosnt explain car doors the frige house doors and other stuff.. buuut)

both men and women do it.. old and young.. my question is 1.. has anyone else noticed this.. and 2... what the bloody hell.. it makes me angry..
for gods sake ive lived with west african people..germans. fijians,, nepalis.... russians.... mongolians.. czechs..chinese. brazilians... none of these people did this....

I've never noticed it. It must be the company you keep/kept.

How long have you lived/stayed in Thailand? How many Thais have you met that allegedly can't close bottles? And where did you meet those people?

Never had that problem, and don't know about other fridges but whatever ends up at the back of mine has gone there to die.

that's because they are fooking lazy and it takes to much energy to close those caps,

I have no idea about closing bottles

... but quite a few who have short arms and can't close windows/doors when the air-con is on
