Thailand's arty street light designs - post your photos here

Thailand has some interesting arty street light designs. Here's a photo I took of one in Muak Lek district of Saraburi province.

Post photos you have taken of arty street lights in Thailand with a few words to say where they are.

Very nice rabbit street light decor, prawnograph. What's the history between Chanthaburi and rabbits?

Chanthaburi - City of the Moon

And the rabbit on the moon ... The official provincial seal of Chanthaburi features the moon and a rabbit, and walking around town you will also see rabbit emblems on street signs and on shop-fronts, statues, topiary gardens, street lights

    Wiki:
The provincial seal shows the moon surrounded by an aura. Inside the moon disc is a rabbit, as in Thai folklore the dark areas on the moon (maria) form the shape of a rabbit. The seal symbolizes the peace and tranquility of the province. The moon also refers to the meaning of the province, "City of Moon", from Chantha- (Thai: จันท-, lit. 'moon') and buri (Thai: บุรี, lit. 'city')

The flag of the province also shows the seal in the middle, a white rabbit on a yellow moon disc, on a blue disc. The background of the flag is red, with the name of province in yellow written below the seal.

I couldn't help but notice on my recent trip to Pattaya how many more streets have had these "artsy" lights installed, on some streets hard to see them as buried beneath cables! should have taken some pictures!
They are obviously a great money earner for someone?

It was taken on the banks of the Chao Praya river, opp New Siam Riverside hotel.

Saw some wonderfully intricate and interesting lamps in Rayong, but alas no pics.

    Great thread Nev!
