Adorable lanterns. I adore original lighting. To illuminate my terrace, I sometimes use ceiling lamps or another general lighting; sometimes fixed or free-standing lamps, and sometimes linear lamps mounted under hanging cabinets. But one day, I tried an unusual way of lighting. I ordered a bunch of small lamps (these Amazon.com). Then I decided to arrange them all over the place, so the atmosphere was like in a club or a party. The light is white, so it doesn't interfere with working. But the atmosphere becomes much more pleasant and comfortable. The truth is that I had to bother with sockets, but it was worth it.

^ Nice one, and I really enjoy this thread.
Thanks Nev
These lights are even more special than they first appear. I was in Udon yesterday afternoon, the sky is black because of the rainstorms about and the lampposts were lit up blue. Amazing how the city fathers think of more ways to spend money on these things.
