    Do Thai shopping websites Suck?

    Who designs this websites?
So last year we build a house in Khon Kaen, have not spend much time there yet as I have being busy with business projects abroad. I will be returning to Thailand this Monday and would like to have three air conditioners installed , a 24K btu for the living room,(11m X 4m) and two 12k BTU for the bedrooms.
So of online I went, at some of the home improvement home websites, Global house , Home Pro, Thai Watsadu . BigC, etc,
First some online purchase websites are only in Thai , and many of the adverts are graphics so google translate not good. Of the Thai only websites , some parts are in English, So I guess designed so that neither Thai only speaking or English only speaking customers would understand them. Then at the Home Pro website they dont list the BTU size, (the most important spec) you have to click each item, and then get to the description to find out what the BTU size is. For some they dont list the BTU size at all!!! I Guess they must sell a lot of them , because I guess people who buy air conditioners love to be surprised. And no mention of installations , for some(very few) it says "Free installation"" I guss they must think that people who buy air conditioners on line, buy them for ornamental purposes.
End of runt, I feel better now LOL
So I guess i will be staying at the Pullman for a few nights while I buy and install A/Cs when i get there.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

Almost all Thai websites are crap, try using Majorcineplex to find out what time a film is on, the app don't work either.

Good call. Great hotel. Head over to Global House. Find A/C you want. Buy it and typically they will have someone out to install in a couple days. I have all Samsungs but whatever flips your switch.

Imagine what shopping might be like without the dependency of gadgetry.
    As some haven't a clue.

Indeed. Liked that hotel. Nice italian place just next door ( couple of years ago maybe). Run by an italian. I have always enjoyed my days in KK.

Had 4 or 5 aircons installed in a different city while away, all done online, and all done easily.

Go on their website and choose which one ya want, get a Thai to call them, after the 3 hour phone call just check it's all doable, and off ya go. Never had a problem. Arriving at a unit with new aircons is a lot nicer than arriving at one that doesn't.

Many will get along nicely without the conditioned air.
    Matter of acclimation and exposure.

Decide which brand of AC you want - my choice is Daikin for what its worth, look on Lazada for the model numbers you want, be surprised if they are not considerably cheaper than any of the Big stores, then get a fitter to install.
The last two we bought have done this way, one - a 24k BTU Daikin had a problem with a broken vane we discovered after fitting, called Daikin and they had replaced parts in less than 24 hours, so no problem with warranties.

Lazada worth keeping in mind, and good after sales service, heard that from a few people.

    How much the fitter?
