How long after approval did you start receiving SS payments?

Just got approved after almostv3 months.Woman in Manika said last month first check, including back pay from December on, that I should be paid within 2 months.Anyone know how long after approval?

2 months. Not affected by the shutdown. Always posted on the fourth of every month unless it falls on a holiday or a weekend.

Recall some discussion about this type of account had restrictions. No ATM withdrawals or some such thing. ?

It's a direct deposit receiving account. You must transfer the funds to a separate savings account in order to withdraw funds. You can view activity on the account if you have online banking but you cannot transfer or move funds in any way. You have to do your transfer transaction in person at a branch presenting your passport and bank book.

2 months AFTER approval? I was told the whole process takes about a month or so, and that some received their first check 1 month after applying.
