Stupid question....How many British citizens live in Thailand as expats?

I have tried to Google this and I get nothing but breakdowns of various ethnicities who identify as British or actually hold British citizenship. I am NOT interested in this shit. The USA has 75 thousand of its citizens living here on extensions of stay. How many such citizens does the UK have? Seems a simple question, but the internet can muddle and distort anything. Surely someone here has at least a rough figure. I don't DARE pose this question on ThaiVisa. The psychotic drunkard crew who has taken over that forum is of little help on anything of substance. In my brief stay in Chaiya earlier this month I only saw a few groups of foreigners. From their twang one group was easily identified as Aussie. The others sounded like Americans.
