    Lazada online Shopping

Has anyone ordered anything From Lazada? They have electronic components and test equipment I'd like to buy but cannot find anywhere else in Thailand, and some excellent deals on other things.

Did the order arrive on time and intact? Were you able to track the order so you knew when it would arrive? My greatest concern is that I don't want to be sitting home for days waiting for my order to arrive.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

    I ordered a coffee grinder.

Had to go and collect it at the local post office as we were out when the postie arrived.

No tracking. I believe some of their stuff is supplied from overseas, and this is not tracked.

My wife tells me their record isn't great, but I had no complaints.

Lazada gets a thumbs up from me. I use them often.

Only had one bad experience in which the payment was deducted from my account but the order didn't get entered. Took them a month to sort it out.

Try to find a vendor in Thailand when possible. Makes shipping quicker and easier to track. Ordering from outside Thailand works but sometimes too slow. The driver will phone you to make an appointment for delivery if package is going by courier.

I use it a lot. Only problem I've had is delivery when we are out. LELEXPRESS just seem to take it back and call it a failed delivery.

They phone you before delivery and they give you an estimated delivery time on ordering. Any problems with your item you can return it free by taking it to your nearest 7/11 after doing the return procedure online. All is explained, in good English, on their website.

I've used them twice for COD on items sourced from within Thailand. No complaints, both items were at my front door around 48hrs after ordering.

    Yep, many times.

Almost always good and reliable service.

Only one issue was that what I ordered wasn't it stock and they didn't notify me until after the due delivery date so I'd sat there twiddling my thumbs for nothing. Fully refunded/credited the order though.

We use them a lot, biggest thing we bought was an AC, about 20% saving, had a problem with two items that were returned with prepaid label, no gripes from them and money refunded in 3 days or so.

I have bought a couple of mobile phones and various photographic and electrical accessories through lazada.

I pay cash on delivery and they have always been reliable as far as delivery times are concerned and the items have been as advertised.

I use it a lot. i choose the payatall option at 7-11. No need to register a credit card. Pay on delivery is also possible but only for Thailand based ''stores''. I have never had a missed delivery as I set my address at one of the condos I look after and my reception staff sign for it. The delivery drivers all call to tell you they are coing and most speak enough English to be able to communicate.

Only problem with lazada is the terrible search engine that brings up unrelated items, and hundreds of them

They are surprisingly good. My secretary uses it all the time. Delivery to work address, so the security guard is always on, so no missed deliveries.

The site lets you know what is in/from Thailand and what needs overseas delivery. The Thai stuff comes quickly, the overseas stuff can take a while. As noted, good returns policy.

All in all, surprisingly good and efficient.

Mostly good. Crap search engine, squirrely delivery guys not doing their due diligence and you gotta be careful not to order something from overseas or China cuz it'll take too long to ship. But good about returns and letting you pay COD. Never been ripped off or lost any money there.

They have good prices on some items but not all items, they phone you and let you know the approx delivery time, used credit card once with them now COD never any problems with payments
Last item i checked the price with them was a reclining sofa chair, their price was 12900 baht reduced from 28,000 baht, bought the same model and color chair from a local furniture store for 7,900 baht

Yes. No problems with them. I do COD.

But as stated the search engine requires some finesse

Lazada (now owned by Alibaba) has worked for us. We almost always get a call from their delivery service (here typically Kerry Express). Returns have been hassle free (wrong items - one our fault, one whoever packed the order). Have a credit card (non-Thai so have some protection and good fraud alert) on file) - COD is a problem if arranging for a neighbor to accept.

Ordered quite a few things when remodeling the house, today it mostly bits and pieces - some of which are take a delivery charge, but beats looking around the home improvement or electronics stores. If you need something sooner rather than later remember to click the local filter otherwise you may wait a few weeks (or not).

There are fakes on Lazada and you have to be careful, as per Ebay. I bought a bottle of EDT a week or so ago which was fake. Able to return free of charge and money refunded after 7 working days.

The best thing about Lazada is the fakes. Decent toys for the kid from China

I bought a bottle of Terre from there and to me it doesn't seem to be fake. 3000 odd instead of 6000..... probably is fake but still smells good. (so the ladies say!)

Well send it back then. Check sites such as this should establish its status. Check the date of manufacture of perfumes and cosmetics - CheckFresh.com

My fake EDT came with bold batch numbers on the bottle base when they should have been pixelated. Also the batch number should have had 11 digits. Mine had 7. Don't go by smell alone.
