I need to brag about Bonnie some more! We used to jump shoot ducks and geese in beaver ponds in Upper Michigan, and we would usually set Bonnie to stay just outside of sight of a pond. My buddy and I would then get into good shooting positions and then call Bonnie to flush whatever was setting on the pond. It could be up to ten minutes and she would just hold until called. Exciting times and she never got punchy. She loved getting in the water and doing retrieves more than any dog I ever saw. Gawds I miss her.

Dogs-dscf1228-jpgThis black demon on the left is so healthy and strong, his brother on the right is skinny and sickly. So the last couple days I stay to see that the skinny one gets to eat. I noticed this morning, I think the skinny one is blind. How fucking sad. That is one reason I do not believe in god. If there were a god, why would he be so cruel. As long as I walk this earth that skinny dog will eat every day.

Dogs-dscf1318-jpgThis is the black demons little brother. His brother is so hard on him, yet he continues to follow his big brother around. Dispite the abuse he follows his brother around eatting the crumbs his brother leaves. So yesterday I notice he is blind. If ever you think maybe you got dealt a shitty hand in life, think of this poor fuck.

Here at our place we have a pack of 6 dogs. The 3 oldest are brothers, there is 1 bitch who ended up with us coming from my wife's brother and then she has 2 pups who are now 6 months old.
Anyway I of the brothers when to a friend and stayed there about 3 years but because that friend does a lot of work with/for us the dog used to come around to our house quite often and eventually stayed.
One night there was a fight and he lost sight in 1 eye and so is now "handicapped". He is the largest dog and I believe if not for his sight then he would have become the dominant one in the pack.
So now he gets made to be subservient to the other 2 but survives.

The point of my story is that while Tunk says the blind black dog above gets "abused" by his brother I would also suggest that he gets some protection from that brother as well. Especially if as Tunk says he is a demon.
If it weren't for that protection the blind dog would probably starve as other dogs took any food he might find. IMHO he looks in pretty good shape so maybe the "partnership" is working even if it involves some abuse.

My two street pups, Yuma and Sally. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Why would anybody go to a puppy mill to buy a dog when beautiful dogs are dying on the streets of Thailand everyday.Dogs-dscf1461-jpg

Thanks PAG, they have settled in really well and they love it here. Choosing off the street I had the pick of the litter. I chose the two runts, the smallest two at the end of the food chain, they ate when the others let them. They would have had the worst life. The boy on the left was the smallest pup and only male to survive a litter of eleven. because Yuma was the smallest, weakest pup he was also the sickest with parvo. Five trips into the city for shots. Taking two pups was my best idea, they keep each other completely entertained. If you want to pet them they are knocking each other over trying to get on your lap, but if you are busy, no problem they are very busy too. Maybe the best behaved dogs I have ever had, maybe something to do with me being retired and having all the time to spend with them.

Dogs-dscf0887-jpgI call her Ash, this is how she looked when she found me. this is what the skin disease will do unckecked. It's not difficult to clear up, two months later she looked like a new dog. Now she's been spayed and has a good life for a street dog.

With that short snout, your one may have been bred to take down lions.

Dogs-dscf0887-jpgThis is the face of suffering. Could you walk away from her ? I couldn't. This morning she looks very good, probably the healthiest she's been in her life and she will never have the burden of babies again. Just one handfull of quality food a day changes a street dogs life.

Hi All, been away from this page for a few years whilst living back in Oz. Wondering if anyone here has experience with importing their dog to Thailand? Even better if they did so from Australia. We want to bring our dog with us which is an Australian Cattle dog cross, we are unsure of the cross but some have said possibly an American Bulldog (no DNA testing has been done to verify, she was saved from the local pound). I believe the American Bulldog is a prohibited breed for import, wondering though what the rules are for a cross breed? Thanks in advance
