Wasted a couple of hours watching "House of Gucci" this evening, not that these two were in any way concerned.

Beautiful and so sweet. Baby female Black Mouth Cur

I didn't know Black Mouth Cur was a breed until I see this. Now my girl Charky is so happy to know she is a Black Mouth Cur, and not just a common street dog. On my morning route I feed a young male exactly like the dog in this picture, he is beautiful. He is very shy, and if you live in a pack you don't eat very good if you are shy. But the last few days he is learning, seperate from the pack and on the way back I will feed you more.

This white dog just found me a few days ago, she will look better soon. A street dogs diet consists of garbage, chicken bones, and sour rice. Just a nice handful of dogfood adds vitimins and minerals to their diet and in a couple weeks they Dogs-dscf1099-jpglook much better.

Dogs-dscf1110-jpgThree sick puppies I'm taking care of, they have that puppy sickness that is so common here. Take them to the vet everyday. They get sodium, and 3 injections. After about 3 days they will be on their feet again, then get their vacinations. Put them back where I found them. When the females are 6 months old I'll have them spayed.

    Thinking ahead. Good idea!

    ____________

Problem: Organizers at the event my daughter wanted to attend before visiting us would not permit dogs. However, “Service Dogs” were.

Solution: Amazon and two days, she has a service dog.

Our dog Tammy has been through a few Songkrans and she loved it! We moved her to the USA with us in 2016 and she is super devoted to the wife.

When I leave home in the morning on my morning route, I take 3 bags of dogfood. General population, puppies, and Brown Dog That Lives Under The Bridge. Brown Dog is special, he has been with me for almost 3 years now. He is the reason I leave in the middle of monsoon, I know Brown Dog is waiting. Found him when he was a puppy and took care of him for maybe a month, then the big flood came, I didn't see him for months, thought probably lost in the flood. Then he found me. I was on my bicycle taking a break under the bridge when he walked up stood in front of me and started stretching. Got home told the g/f that brown dog acted like he knew me, she said you don't remember him? Well starting the next day he is my special boy. He has no family only my family, no home he just lives under the bridge. He is a working dog, a troll, guardian of the bridge. He chases pigeons, scooters and white trucks. he doesn't chase all scooters, just the ones that squeal and make a big fuss. Dogs-dscf0732-jpgWhen he was staking out this territory a local pack almost killed him, for 2 or 3 weeks he lay up under the bridge and I take him food, water and antibiotics. Slowly he got healthy and strong, now he rules. I love this dog.
There is a local homeless ladyboy in that area. Just yesterday the g/f was telling me how much this ladyboy loved falang, only talks to falang. i said thats funny., she has never talk to me. G/f says well look at your face, who in the fuck is gonna talk to you. Good point. The ladyboy has walked by many times while I feed my dogs and has never said a word. Well this morning she decided to talk to me, must have been really desperate, money or cock I'm not sure what she wanted she never got close enough that I could hear over Brown Dog bitching. He flat out told her to fuck off, don't take another step toward my dad, just turn around and walk the fuck away. She did as she was told. I sat there chuckling to myself...I love you Brown Dog.

Our old dog Stormy was found in the woods by my the wife's aunt that just passed away from Covid. Stormy was a noble dog, but got into rat poison the farmers put in the fields to kill rats. One reason to never let your dogs run loose.... Those piles of rice and leftovers in the fields are laced with strychnine.

My dogs are kept inside, pretty much everyone else down the lane owns dogs that roam free. In two years I have never had a problem with any of them, beyond a bit of barking until they come to recognise you.
I posted elsewhere that two young dogs nearby were poisoned. Since then two other neighbours have had their dogs poisoned. Two houses, two dogs each, although one survived. These dogs were family, the owners were beyond upset. One is a ladyboy who lived with just his two dogs, he was distraught.

Meanwhile, like some others here, the gf feeds random dogs that hang around her office, which is outside town in a mostly rural area. The numbers fluctuate, at the moment there are 4 dogs plus 7 new puppies. The pups are about a month old. Typically they will all get poisoned soon by some A-hole and the cycle will go on.

Out of all this adversity I thought there might be an opportunity. We have neighbours who are dogless and we have puppies who are homeless.

    Dogs-1650262393918-jpgDogs-1650262356203-jpg

It seems my plan isn't working. The neighbours who lost their dogs are traumatised. They don't want to care for new dogs only to see them poisoned again.
    It's all a bit sad.
