    Thailand heats up

Damm ... that weather changed fast.

Outer Bangkok has gone from cool, almost cold and windy to Warm / Hot and sticky.

32 C now, 11 am, 34 predicted as the top, no breeze to speak of.

    Tomorrow, tops of 36C

What's it like round your neck of the woods?

In Phuket the 'rainy' season lasted longer than usual, this year up until mid January. Now we're into the bone dry months which typically go on to May. Daytime temperatures are circa 30 to 32, dropping to a pleasant 24 at night. The higher humidity starts around April and May, with temperatures of 32 to 36.

    Blimey.

Save on cooking gas by placing the pan in front of it.

34 in Mandalay- the heat here tends to be dry rather than humid. I think the last time it rained was about 3 months ago. The electrical supply is starting to show the strain; it was out for 7 hours on Saturday and 3 on Sunday but luckily my apartment block has a decent if deafening diesel powered generator. The old one caught fire last year so hoping the new one can take the punishment that will be coming its way in March and April 555

I'm not planning on using much aircon, with the new 25foot ceilings and sea breeze.

The agent made a comment about the landlord this morning never wearing a shirt.
I'm just planning on buying a few pairs of yellow speedos and floating around the place on my inflatable unicorn
