    Are you sure about that?
Yes, when you change the car ownership, it will be changed to the province that is listed as her address at the time, and where it is registered in her name.

To list it in Isaan you may need to drive it to Isaan, to do it in a DLT there.

It would be easier to do it in BKK. And keep the Bkk plates. It isn't a problem.

Better to do this things asap, in case there's something extra needed that the seller hasn't provided etc.

I'd meet the seller at the DLT in Bangkok as the point of sale. Hand over cash and sign over the name at the same time there. That way there's no hiccups or chance of dodgy stuff.

Agreeing with you both ... the JaZz is a great package

I am pretty sure they can though... especially the newer models... seem to recall the older models circa 2004 had softer valves?, that couldn't take the lack of lubrication... don't quote me, it's vague in my memory..

Humm ... are you getting the old ... can my car run on un-leaded fuel mixed up the ability to run on gas?

When the change from leaded to un-leaded fuel came in, yes, the valves were upgraded.

All good advice there ... particularly the timing of the money exchange.

BTW Dill ... that's a sweet lookin' motor and great colour.

Re the fog lamps ... did that model have them as standard?

Some of the entry level models have a cover plate over where the fog light usually is.

Are there wires near where the fog light holes are?

    Valves were fine.
Valve seats were changed in cylinder heads of some engines. Not all among other things.

The car is stated as one owner, no prangs, never in flood. He paid extra for the skirts - car can be financed if required.

Forgot to chip-in on a common scam that advertisers do.

It could be a 2013 motor because it only gets registered after the red plates are off when you buy new.

For example, if they got it Nov13 and changed red plate 8 weeks later in Jan14, then the book will put it down as a 2014 motor.

I could be wrong but as wheel as the chassis and engine I'd have a good look at the driver, I'd never buy a veicle driven by our lad he rides amongst others 'the clutch'.

What you want is clean low mileage piece with good handling and a nice chassis, try tinder who knows a nong with wheels is all a gent really needs.

When I was in the trade, there was an unwritten rule that you'd never buy anything from Merseyside.

That's somewhere in Khon Kaen province innit?

Dillinger's comments re next-gen cars has got me thinking. Which doesn't happen all that often. It would be nice to know when the next-gen anything is due out, so's we (I) don't go and buy the old one at the wrong time. Avoiding the old 'shape' matters to me anyway, some may prefer the old one for the discount.

I'll scrape together what little I know of the ones that interest me, start a new thread sometime. Unless there is already something like that running?
