More scary is that the seat had a convenient hole, supposedly for the gas cap.
Late eighties I was motorcycle couriering in London. Choice of motorcycle amongst couriers - the Honda CX500 (aka the plastic maggot). This bike was a shaft drive V-twin. Very dependable. Last year I had a '94 Honda Accord. It over-heated and warped a head. I had this car for six years. Very dependable. Never looked after it, if I had've it would be on 300000 km's plus by now. Now I have a mitsushitsu at half that mileage and it's already cost me more in six months of ownership than my Honda Accord ever had. Honda is a fantastic brand both the bikes and cars are very good. Not flashy, but certainly dependable.
