    Immigration Foriegner Tracking List

Scary to see something like this, and I see some people I know on it already. I wonder if they will do it country-wide?

    http://www.adsum.in.th/index.php

Update: Looks like the website was taken down about 2 AM Thai time. I will wager there was quite a reaction to that as it included addresses and passport numbers. Or... The server crashed and it will be back up soon?

According to Andrew McGregor Marshall's FB page, hackers took it down and even deleted all the data. Will have to see if this fiasco hits the news. I think you hit the password spot on!

Seems as Mr. Marshall knows a little bit too much.

THAI IMMIGRATION DATA LEAK — Many thanks to the person who cracked the administrator password of the website, and the person who used this password to access the site and delete all of the data. The website is now offline. Now we need answers on why this data was published in the first place

Thai immigration data shared online includes all southern provinces from Chumphon down to Yala and Narathiwat. Names, nationality, passport numbers, addresses and work details all published. http://www.adsum.in.th/index.php

People have had their personal information available to anyone for over 7 months on the internet? Thailand gets more and more surreal every day.

Very crafty that - changing "6" to "somtam". Keep those hackers guessing.

just another example of the unprofessional, irresponsible, amateurish, ill judged, and stupid clusterfucks that thai government agencies excel at time after time.

According to Andrew M the password was indeed 123456. Truth is often stranger than fiction on thailand

One more reason why I never registered and never declared anything in this country...

They just see me at some borders sometimes but then I disappear...

Yeah, I knew a couple of guys up in Mae Taeng that were "off the grid". Not a bad plan these days.

So what nationality is the three pronged golden crown or is that some other symbol? There seems to be a lot of them on both pictures.

Typical knee-jerk after the fact off the cuff answer from the powerz-that-b in division 6 (which runs the entire south of thailand)..
