    iMobile. Any good?

My mobile phone is getting a bit cronky. I believe that iMobile are made in Thailand. They seem well priced, with an OK features phone for as little as 5000 baht in big C. It's no iPhone 6s or Samsung s6 but I don't need that top end stuff. Are iMobile any good?

Probably fine for basic phone and SMS functions.

But if you wanna keep up with TD bully boys whilst on the move you'll need more firepower, but a cheap simple netbook does that too.

Utter shite. Don't go anywhere near it.

Get a middle range Samsung, Sony, LG, whatever your fancy for 5,000 baht. About 5 years ago, I picked up a Sony smartphone for 5,500 baht and it was really good - did everything I needed, so you don't need to spend big bucks if you don't want to.

Here's one option, but pop down to Powerbuy and look at all the stuff in your price range:

Samsung Galaxy J2 - Full phone specifications

    Samsung Galaxy J2 ??????????????? 2 ???????? ?????? 4.7 ???? ???? 4,990 ??? - ???????.???

I bought one for my son a couple of years ago - good features, camera was good, but woefully underpowered in terms of RAM and processing power which made those nice features unusable.

I'm thinking if I get an imobile, it'll have to be a high powered model.

    Have you been listening, Henrie???

iMobile is shite; you will regret buying one. For the same money you can get a well specc'd Samsung or Sony. One would have to be quite stupid to get the iMobile.

Before you run out an buy it, why not go to the Mobile Expo at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center? It started today and runs until the 14th.

Funny you should mention that. I've just looked at the J7. Very nice.

Sorry Betty, I didn't read your first post. My auto-response is to skip posts that begin with swear words. Cheers for the info.

    You are welcome.

When I mentioned to the missus that a fellow member might get an iMobile, she just started laughing and shaking her head... They are not reliable or decent value for the money.

I'd sooner buy second hand than one of those I-mobiles

You could pick up a used iPhone 5s for about 9,000 baht which (unlike any android it's age) is on the latest operating system too.

Plus you'll get a lot more kudos in them karaoke bars

I've had one for 2 years, it's been flawless. Looks exactly like a Samsung and cost only 4000 Baht. I Mobile IQ 5.1
