    Overseas Magazine Subscriptions

Does anyone subscribe to magazines from overseas and have them delivered in Thailand?

I know I can get pretty much all of them as an app or whatever but I just don't like to read like that. I like paper, and books.

Since my darling daughter arrived I'm struggling to get through a book in half a dozen months. So I figured magazines would be bettererer. I know there's probably a decent selection in Emporium or something but I hardly ever leave the house let alone go into town.

I did a bit of research, FHM is 3266bht for a years subscription (12 issues). 272bht an issue. That's not too bad I guess to get it to my door. I'm thinking that would be a handy xmas pressie from my wife...

I looked at a music magazine called Big Cheese, what worried me about this one is that I haven't read it in 6+ years so I might not actually like any of the music they're talking about... it is a little bit cheaper but with less issues so I think it came out about the same.

The final one I looked at was Viz, 36GBP to my door (2000bht), 10 issues. That's 200bht an issue for some quality toilet time reading.

So I went with the cheapest option to test the waters, Viz for a year. I hope it fits in the fucking postbox so i don't have to pick it up at the post office every time...

My first issue is October15th which will arrive in September apparently.
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

Yep, I used to get a couple delivered via Hong Kong when I lived there, not a problem.

    What an odd fella, Armstrong.

    Magazines, journals, and books?
Real items that you can feel and appreciate.

I'll buy them from you after you've read them - price will be dependent upon the number of shit stains on them (Of course, Jeff would offer you more for each shit stain rather than my offer of less).

luckily we can rent the previous months magazine for free from the school library so that's good. Gotta be honest that I haven't asked if they stock FHM or VIZ but I haven't seen it on the shelves. Maybe it's in the back with Fiesta and Escort.

Always puzzled me why those two magazines were named after Ford cars....

Yup, me too. I get QP magazine sent to me in Korat. Not cheap, but worth it.
