    Beard trimmers.

    Who's rocking one?

My weekly wet shave is getting tiresome.

Anyone using an electric beard trimmer instead? Which one are ya using? Where did you pick it up?

Are you talking about a beard trimmer, or an electric razor?

Although it doesn't really matter as I've tried a variety of both and never found one of either that I liked.

I am using a Braun electric beard trimmer for the last 25 years or so - also great for cutting your hair.

You should buy Wahl. I picked up some phillips that were in a sale. The things are lethal. A number 5 is a number 1. I just use them as ball clippers now. You are welcome to borrow them though

I had a Remington which was very good, and cheap, I think only $25 from Target.

Yep. Got a Remington set in Boots UK a few years ago. Hair clippers, beard trimmer, and nostril / ear hair clipper thingie. (Now I know where the hair on my head went..). Still in great working order. Bargain for about 30 quid I think it was.

    It ain't rocket science, CM.

And Shirley, one doesn't require these modern electronic fancy gadgets to perform a very basic and simple task.

Beard trimmers are readily available in most electrical shops, some with adjustable length attachments.
Been using them for years, only 'problem' was the cheapo Chinese one, could chisel cement with the torque of the action.

    Cool

I've had a Wahl for a few years now. Worked great until yesterday. Now it does not work = nothing. Plug-in recharger model. Not sure how to open it up (no batteries) to take a look inside. I took the cutting portion apart but didn't find any problem there.

Does anyone know where I can buy another one in Chiang Mai?

Me too - not cheap, but never had a problem. Rechargeable, but will work off the mains as well. Several size combs can be fitted and you can use it for hair and beard. It says 'Made in Germany' on it ... :-)

Was in Robinson's at the weekend and got this. 1,600b.

    Between 1 and 10mm.

    I rock the 1mm look.

Will try to keep it away from the missus' pubes.

I've got a couple, the new one is a brilliant little bit of kit.

Wahl with different attachments and stuff, also use a little pair of beard scissors.

Usually don't bother and go to a fantastic little barbers on Thong Lor though

I've got a beard now Jizz although it is a mixture of fair and grey colour.

Would buy a trimmer but don't know how long I will keep the face muff.
