Closest i've ever been to one of these beauties, made the hairs on my neck stand up.
Large-eyed Pit Viper.
The Large-eyed Pit Viper has a dangerous bite and should be taken seriously. Bites can result in intense pain, swelling, necrosis of flesh, and in some cases severe systemic bleeding. Fatalities are very rare but local damage can be lasting. Anyone who is bitten by a pit viper should be taken to the hospital as quickly as possible.
Found this Tortoise on the road to Phu Khiao Wildlife Sanctuary it is considered an endangered species and was in danger of being run over where it was so I redirected it into the forest.
It is a mature male about 30cm long.

Ni idea what this one is called but I think they both support the same football team.

On garden watering duty this morning, and whilst directing a jet at a hanging plant on our back terrace, this character appeared, none too pleased at getting soaked.
Quick check with Google, and it appears to be a Green Cat Snake, and quite harmless. Thought I'd post in case anyone comes across one, and thinks it's a viper. This one was probably just over a metre long, and about 25-30mm diameter, tapering towards the head:
