Ya, that's the usual drill. But the tracking almost always indicates "out for delivery" before you get that slip. This time my tracking stops on July 07 after it entered customs.

    On Thai Post website:
    July 7, 2014
    09:55:20 BANGKOK MAIL CENTER Accept
    July 7, 2014
10:42:36 BANGKOK MAIL CENTER To Customs

    USPS website:
    DATE & TIME
    STATUS OF ITEM
    LOCATION
    July 7, 2014 , 10:42 am
    Customs Clearance
    THAILAND
Your item is being processed by customs in THAILAND at 10:42 am on July 7, 2014.

Indeed. I ordered some stuff, never arrived, got the green slip, called them, they told me what the duty was.
I lost out on that deal.

At least the package didn't contain a rock when opened, like the woman in Koh Samui.

16 days for me now, but last Friday was a Buddhist holiday. I must have this item by Friday though, so maybe it will still come in time......
