One of the oddities that blew me away when I first started coming to Thailand were the women in the men's toilet. When I had my house in Koh Samui and would go to the Green Mango in my drunken stupor, I could never get used to the gaggle of women congregating in the men's toilet. They were even sleeping on the floor. What are they doing there?
I do understand that women usually are the ones delegated to clean the toilets, but I am not really used to having them wondering around while I am pinching a loaf. I am also trying to remember if I have seen this in any other countries I have visited. Either I was too drunk in my travels, or Thailand has a corner on the market of having women congregating in the men's toilet.
What say you?
