we get a pizza in a local restaurant, cooked in a wood-fired oven
B190 for a Margherita, and delicious
serve you right for going to PizzaasHit and the rest of those dumps
3 large Archa's at my local last night...120baht.
Pizza...I make my own, price dependant on what toppings you use, still far cheaper than the pizza outlets.
Government says we are wrong, I wish they would tell my wife 555, Eggs up 16% that's a low estimate. Pork is up about 14%. Water went up 20% after the 300 Baht implementation.
Tell you what guys, last night, I bought some fresh rambutten and they were 20 baht a kilo, and this morning they were 25 a kilo. OP might be right here.
Minere mineral water has just jumped by 2 baht.
Pepsi, Miranda and 7up have just launched a new can that is smaller than 440 traditional number. It is priced a couple of baht less but about 40% smaller. This is a cunning trick I reckon.
Yes! Just visited my favourite soup place in Ubon for the first time in 6 months and my special bowl has jumped from 40 up to 50 baht.
It isnt a trick .
There is a new sized product available and the price is clearly marked .
The product is there in front of you as is the price .
Its up to you whether you purchase the product or not .
Theres no trickery involved .
The new smaller product is also 40% cheaper than the standard sized product
yeah, it is called marketing
companies produce different sizes and sometimes you need a calculator to work out which is the cheapest cost per gram/litre etc
in the UK the supermarkets have to mark those costs on the price tag to make comparison easier
Dogs will eat that dodgy stuff. No big deal to them. Bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, you name it. No rice required. Voila, dog food. When my pop used to catch cattle he had a large yard of BMC's and Cat's. They ate chicken scraps. Liked it best when it was a bit smelly. Those were some good cattle dogs. Never seemed to get sick to my recollection.
Yes, I have noticed price rises in the last two weeks . Water up 2 Baht a bottle and rice/noodle dishes up five baht
I know this is in the about living in Thailand forum ,, but if I can just interject one little point , its not exclusively Thailand so although any rise is not good your not alone.
We used to spend around £45 a week in the UK for 2 of us ( early this year ) now its up to £60 for less food , so around a 20% ish rise across the board ,, coupled to the fact where I work I have had no pay rise of any kind for 4 years now and its not gonna happen in the future either apparently .
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
Don't worry because inflation is under 3% or thats what I keep getting told every year but prices increase by 10-20%. Of course the wankers on Wall street are gambling with your lives..oil and your food, nice that they are making a load of dosh though while ordinary people suffer. The joys of capitalism.
Chicken meat scraps price has increased yet again. From 60 to now 90 baht per kilo over the last six weeks at the local fresh market.
Lotus is still 80 baht per kilo for chicken thighs.
The local native 'fresh market' is always higher for meat than Big C or Lotus.
...at least in my area.
'Tis here too, but me driving to 16 kms to Lotus or Macro every three days to buy a couple of kilos of chicken is stoopid.
