    Thatchers Cider, imported by Apple Honey Co Ltd Cider in Thailand - Importers & Distributors of Premium Ciders, Apple Honey Co., Ltd
    will be regularly available in Chiang Mai very soon. There have been distribution hiccups: hopefully very soon these will be a thing of the past.

    Dear OP - let's try again shall we..

    Mini Bar Services Thailand, Mini Bar Services Phuket, MBS Thailand - sole distributors of Magners in Thailand (which is the same as Bulmers, which for such an expert, one thought you might have realised this).

    Cider in Thailand - Importers & Distributors of Premium Ciders, Apple Honey Co., Ltd - Thatchers, Kepplers, used to do Blackthorn, Natch, and a couple of others. Bag in Box scrumpy as well. They distribute to the following places;

    What you seem to be missing is that you can not force a supermarket to stock your product, they pretty much decide if they want it and how much.

    Fluid Pacific Asia / WhiteStrawberry ship in Stowford Press (keg) and Westons cider into Thailand. In most bars you will find a cider in the Farang areas.

    Why is there no Thai market? Cider is expensive as an import. To buy whole sale you are looking at 100 + baht per can / pint. To buy in the pub 220-300 depending upon location. Now, unless you love Cider so much and it is your drink, do you really think the average Thai will swap his 4 bottles of 70 baht big bottle of LEo and one bottle of shite whisky for a pint of cider, a drink he has never heard of and unless his daddy or mummy drinks it, will never try?

    Bring something else in by all means and let us know - love new ciders coming in. But as a business, you are wasting your time - 4th into the market, and years behind the others who actually do a very very good job.

    Now, I am seriously looking at making my own cider in Thailand once my house move if finished and will be using the methode champenoise for my product which produces a delightful tipple you can not find here (personal consumption of course). Why not start making your own? Import a container of apples from the west country is 30,000 quid (was last year), but you might find something similar in China for cheaper.

    So how did you get on with the Thatchers Rose? I prefer their Green Goblin, sooooo much better than that watery Magners sh1te.

    oooaaarrrrh

    the only cider worth drinking is the one down on the farm

    the rest is just alcohol without much class
    Any TD member that's like cider who lives or spends time in the UK should visit, Middle farm | cider & perry. Have mentioned it before we live 5 minute drive form there, Buddha must listen to my request sometimes well worth a look if someone is driving you.
    Excellent place Middle Farm, I live nearby, they have a great selection of quality ciders and will make the cider for you if you have enough of your own apples.

    2300 or something like that. depends which one you go for. Also can get westons from another plce and they had a deal on buy 2 get one free - the chippy here on the dark side is selling it for 120 a pint... and very nice it is too.

There is a firm in Pattaya bringing in huge amounts of Thatchers cider products right now including scrumpy, and stowford press are in with draught. Competition might bring the price down, but I struggle to see how though. Good luck and let us know if you do - only very select supermarkets with high farang customer bases stock cider - tesco lotus often does.
    They're in Chiang Mai too now..... check out the banner ad on the Teak Door Chiang Mai forum. Don't need to pay over-inflated Rimping Supermarket prices any more!
