Shipping household good out of Thailand

I've been to Thailand about 15 times but never bought anything I couldn't carry home. I know many of you have spent a great deal of time there so thought this would be a good place to ask for advice. I'm interested in having some household goods shipped to the U.S......probably from Chatujak. I've noticed a number of shipping companies over on the northern side of the market and would appreciate advice and information from anyone who may have used their services.

I can easily pick up the shipment at the POE (probably Miami) and would be eager to hear what you think. Thank you, very much.

i moved a container out of thailand no plomplem.
what you need to do is your homework.
some rules i believe about foreigners being involved in export being illegal, although i doubt you would get any shit from this.
you really need to check up on what the import tax is on the goods you are moving, and whether it will be worth your while after paying for shipping, transport to the nearest port, packing etc.
    good luck

    Thanks

Thanks for your thoughts. I already checked into import/duty fees and they are very reasonable on the things I'm interested in. (Importing items for personal use into the US is cheap on everything I checked on.)

I did get some brochures from several of the shippers at Chatujak but it would be so helpful to get information from someone who has experience with them and could offer some good or bad recommendations. Thanks, again!
