At first it was a bit depressing that a lot of mates had left and a couple had died, but it soon became apparent that some of the lads had been way overindulging , it was hard to get my head around, some of my mates weren't doing much so would start drinking about 9 in the morning but would be fucked at 4.00 when I turned up for a drink, some of them only came out once a week now gave it large and then stayed home for a week. Some had sped up.some had slowed down. It was fascinating to watch all this from.an outside perspective. Don't get me wrong. I don't judge but some of them had definitely gone done the rabbit hole. They had all arrived on a scooter or car to adding to the vientiane chaos would be my guess

My last night in town I wasn't planning on getting fucked up flying around hungover, my mates were already at the bar at lunchtime but I told em fill yer boots I'll see you at 4.00 when I turned up there was about 10 of them. All absolutely hammered and stumbling about some couldn't even stand , I remember thinking wow. You can't get away with this kind of fun in Australia it's illegal. The joint smoking at the bar being the least of it. Not in Lao. In fact it's encouraged. You have to be a special kind of fucked up or a real asshole to get thrown out, in Australia. 1 drink to many and smoking a ciggie will likely see you beaten to a pulp by some bouncers for having the audacity, so fair play to my mates for taking full advantage I suppose

Today I managed to transfer the pics from my phone to my sons laptop hoping the pics would be better but I couldn't seem to sign on as BLD my td prison escapee nic. It kept going back to Beerlaodrinker for some reason and wouldn't let me log in
Wrong password? Any suggestions. Don't know why it's hard to post a pic? I used to.use photo bucket then image shack should I go back to image shack? Both were time consuming though

Mostly they just put the price of everything up by 50% so what used to be an 400 000 kip bill was now 800 000 so it was still the same. Still cheap. But like I said if your paid in kip then your fucked or you better have a side hustle

Yes, seen it happen all over Asia for donkeys years . When your young dumb and full of cum you think your invincible but it WILL take its toll its a good thing I left when I did I'm not noted for self restraint. But I'm sure I've got plenty of will power because I've never had to use any so far
