Hit up Don Det and Don Kho islands just for kicks. They have an awesome new "sling" system now. I highly recommend it. Only 250,000kip. Takes 45min or so.
Watched some madder mo fos than me doing the falls in kayaks. Too bad the gopro battery died half way through. Stupid fish. Someday I'll figure this vacation stuff out.

This is at Vat Phou, Laos. Champasack province.
Some say 800 ad, others the sixth century. Either was it's an old city. The carvings above the doors are very intricate. Quite amazing. It's said to be the oldest archaeological site in Laos.
