The place is a big flat rock on top of a mountain. It's where the Lao held up and fought back against the local leaders and ultimately the Thai. After they schooled the local leaders of course.
There is a path through the jungle to get there.
They built these pillars around the top of this mountain. Nice views.

This place has little houses for rent along the river. 40usd per night. Not too bad.
