Penajam, the other side of the harbour from Balikpapan. I'd get the driver to put the car on the ferry for the hour ride across. Once he's there I take on of the little speed boats over and off we head for the commute.

/\ That stretch was about 3 km of bonnet deep water on the main highway. The bloke with the fish trap came out of the little van. We hooked the van and another one up behind us and towed the pair of them road train style through the flooded section

The club owns all the boats bar mine and a Mirror that a West Aussie bloke owns.

Took a while before the French folks let me in. They refused me membership but once I got my 20 going they opened the door. Don't see a problem with getting a sail organised. The 420s are both pretty tired, no kites. No hiring, just use them.
