    Customs issue

Hi, I've sent a drone from UK to my daughter in Thailand. It was an insurance replacement as drone fell into Indian Ocean. They now expect her to fly to Bangkok from Phuket, something to do with an import license, which is not an option. It hasn't been "landed" as far as I'm aware and I have asked for it to be returned to UK. They now want an export license. So they want to "land" it before they will return it!! Any advice guys?

Dealing with Thai customs can be a nightmare.

I have used a company called "World Courier". They (the Thai branch) seem to be able to get things sorted. Be warned though, they are expensive. It might be a case where you just walk away from. Depends on the price of the drone i suppose.

That's what I paid World Courier a few years ago to ship a package. Like I said - expensive. Still, you only need the assistance with clearance and final delivery, so maybe drop them a line.
