Oral Sex Causes Throat Cancer In The UK And US, A Study Finds

In the UK and the US, oral sex has become a major risk factor for throat cancer, according to a recent study. As cervical cancer used to be the most reported type of cancer in the two countries, throat cancer, because of its rapid increase over the past two decades, has been called an “epidemic” by experts due to its rapid increase over the past few decades.

According to Dr Hisham Mehanna from the University of Birmingham, a recent paper published in the journal The Conversation states that this has mainly to do with human papillomavirus (HPV), which is also responsible for the majority of cervical cancers.

HPV is one of the most common viruses that can be transmitted by vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who is already infected with the virus.

According to the study, oral sex has caused an increase in the incidence of a particular type of throat cancer called oropharyngeal cancer, which affects the tonsils and the back of the throat, as well as a rise in the incidence of cervical cancer.

As Dr Mehanna writes in her article published in The Conversation, there has been an increase in throat cancer in the West over the past two decades, to such an extent that some have called it an epidemic.

There has been evidence in the past that HPV infection is of great importance to the development of the disease, as indicated in previous studies. The most important risk factor that relates to oropharyngeal cancer is the number of lifetime sexual partners, especially oral sex partners, which plays a major role in the development of the disease.

As he pointed out, those who have had at least six oral-sex partners over the course of their lifetime are 8.5 times more likely to develop oropharyngeal cancer in comparison to those who have never practiced oral-sex.

It has been reported that around 8,300 people are diagnosed with throat cancer every year in the United Kingdom, according to a study by the national health body of the country, the National Health Service (NHS). In the country, one in fifty cancer diagnoses is caused by this type of cancer.

The doctor explained that this can lead to an HPV infection at the back of the throat or near the tonsil if the virus enters the throat in this way. There are times when these infections can persist and cause cancer, but in most cases they will go away on their own on their own.

In several parts of the developed world, such as the United States, there is an HPV vaccine, which is 80 percent effective and is available in several parts of the world.

I think alcohol is a is a significant risk factor too.

I know a dude who late last year had to have his oesophagus shortened because of throat cancer. It's major friggin' surgery. He seems to have come through it OK.

I'm surprised these studies still make the media news rather than the (correct) analysis and reporting of multiple studies.

I don’t think any of your potential partners need to worry, Backsquat. You have to have a cock long enough to reach the throat, for to do any damage.

Backspit has a penchant for ladyboys. I think he is more worried about his own throat.
