I'm on a list apparently for AZ. Just hoping it's a work day to be honest.

And jabbed. Fairly long day, with a lot of waiting. Place was right across bangkok for me. While there i got notification that work gave me an appointment tomorrow to get the astra vaccine 250 yards from home. Sigh.
Seems we are swimming in the astra vaccine. Everyone at the center i was at was getting it. Thousands of people, all ages.
^ Congratulations.
I have been registered with both the local heath workers and my employer for weeks and am still to hear anything from either re appointments.
I guess I'll just keep waiting
They seem to be banging out appointments at the moment. All my staff are schedules, and my son got an appointment through his Uni.
Pretty rough night. Fever and severe chills, plus a headache and a bit of dizziness. Feeling a tad better now, but intend to take it very easy today.
Should be OK this morning.
Right as rain today. The chills were as bad as any I have had in the past, quite impressive honestly.
Three more months before the next one. Looking forward to it.
So I'm refusing any vaccine till after the Euros then.
Astra tomorrow morning for me. I hope..
Done and dusted. Go back October 4 for the second dose, and got a cool wristband to wear until then..
They gave me some paracetamol, and an antihistamine tablet to take at 8pm tonight. Very organized and easy.
When I first registered on Mor Phrom there was a calendar of purportedly available dates, except you could not select any of them, there was nothing actually available.
I kept trying and after a few days the calendar disappeared. It became a note to say that bookings would commence on June 14th. So on that date I woke before dawn to be amongst the first to discover that the booking system is not open sine die.
Then I asked a few questions and learned that in this very low risk province even the locals who already had appointments for this week were sent home jabless. It seems those people are at the front of a virtual queue but the hospital doesn't know when it will get any vaccines so no new appointments are being made.
It is looking more and more like I shall be one of the last in the allegedly civilised world to get access to vaccine. Nothing I can do about it so I shouldn't get grumpy about it, yet I am. I have a life on hold.
Locals are saying some unrepeatable things, things I never expected to hear in this part of the world. This may be a rural backwater, it doesn't mean the locals are completely unintelligent or uninformed. They aren't happy.
As for the Astra injection yesterday. No side effects at all for dose one. Nothing, so that is a good feeling.
