They are quite simply the stupidest, most idiotic people on the planet.

And it is only now that they inflict this imbecility on their own people fifteen months after the pandemic arrived. What the fuck have they been doing???

Did the Elite have to register using this drivel to get their vaccination? Did they fuck.

    They truly are an emetic.

But the kicker is, there are some 200,000 retired and married farang with Thai spouses who have made this place their home and contributed billions of baht and we have been totally ignored.

These stinking ungrateful hypocritical fuckers all qualify for free vaccination in the West without fucking hindrance. If you are registered with a doctor, that's it. If you are in a group called to get immunised, then all you have to do is to present yourself and you will get accommodated.

With every day that passes we are provided with yet more evidence these ghastly people are no more than a shower of putrid shite wallowing in their rancid racism and money-grubbing avarice.

If I counted correctly, there are 33 steps to complete the registration. Most of the first group are country people who are over 60. Many of them will struggle to complete this form and will probably give up after it crashes two or three time!

Or you can simply register at your local hospital or with the village health volunteers - very straightforward.

I registered on the 1st May using the LINE app and have booked for a shot on the first available day I could find, which is 7th June. It took several attempts, probably caused by overloading. I know several Thais who were also successful in getting a booking. They mostly went for time slots after mine as they wanted to see what happened to the farang. There is an option on the app to change the booking.

I have read elsewhere that the over 60s will be getting the AstraZeneca version, which I prefer to the Chinese one. The latter has not gone very well when using it on nurses at my local hospital.

If I do not post again after 7th June, you can assume that there were serious side effects resulting in my demise.

I registered on the LINE app and it is not in English. Hopefully you can download it using the QR code in the image below.

If not, the following address may (or may not) work.

    https://liff.line.me/1645278921-kWRP...eme%3Aexternal

I suck at typing Thai so had to get someone else to enter my name as it is shown on the I.D. Card. Apart from that, it is mostly numbers or drop-down options, so not too bad.

    Good luck.

The village health volunteers came round the houses early last week seeking the names of those 18+ who were interested in receiving a vaccination when they become available.
My wife provided tabian baans and ids for the whole family including the kids just to be safe and will go along tomorrow to confirm that I qualify for phase 2 of the rollout.

Personally, going to wait until can get what I want. Which does NOT include Sinovac or the locally produced AstraZeneca (not sure when that will start to be distributed).

Lets hope the private hospitals can get moving.

According to newspaper reports the AstraZeneca will be given to over 60s with underlying conditions. Supposedly it will be delivered to the government in June

That is likely to be the locally produced one (made under license). Thailand has actually been involved in vaccine production for quite a long time, and they are quite good at it. BUT, this is under a deal with a company that has no track record in this area. Hence my reluctance.

^ Yes, I understand the reluctance and it is again according to the newspaper reports the locally produced one.

I have decided to register, but make the actual decision as to whether to receive the jab much closer to the day.

My wife is not too comfortable with me having this vaccination.

Personally I have concerns with all of the options.
Being out in the sticks I am concerned about how the doses will be stored and handled no matter how effective the scientists say they are

I have simular concerns, however I feel the risks are sufficiently low enough to go ahead and get the jab. Getting the jab brings with it benefits which make day to day life less complicated. Specifically, freedom of movement around Thailand and other countries as well as immunity and the peace of mind it brings.

Simple here. No need to register, as there's neither vaccine nor plan.

The nagging doubt here is of course that batches of the domestic Thai AZ that may become contaminated during production will not be thrown away, as is the case elsewhere, but will still be distributed and received by folk who will be under the misapprehension they are protected.

Anyway, Knowlton, I trust you are shielding and will stay safe.

Indeed, and thank you. I worry far more for my wife than myself as she is the one out doing the day-to-day chores. She also has hopefully many years yet to live, and I have already lived a full and rewarding life.

The company didn't in fact exist this time last year but its parent company did make cement.

This is simply not true. The company was founded in about 2009. It manufactures a few drugs including erythropoietin.

I tried using the pink ID card and failed at Step 2, xiv.

After filling in the personal data and pressing the green button I got an error message demanding that I input the correct data.

Obviously I had delegated the task to my admin, sorry, gf, so I personally rechecked all the data and tried again with the same result. We both checked all the data very carefully and failed a third time.

The error message doesn't assist in pointing out which data point might be wrong, so we gave up.

Next step is to try the old-fashioned way and trot over to the local health centre.
