    I'm out.

I drank a fuck load of pink gin last night thinking my bar would have to close Saturday and Sunday. Turns out I'm open again tonight and closed Sun/Mon.

It was a shit idea while it lasted.

I'm doing Dry July again this year.

TizShe and I dropped into one of the locals on the evening of 31st for a couple of these each to end out June.

I haven't touched a drop since Friday before last. So 9 days really.

Stopping alcohol, for me, is easy compared to packing up IQOS heated cigarettes of which I'm on day 5 cold Turkey.
That IQOS system stands for 'I quit original smoking' I just found out
    Horrible first 3 days

You make a lot of poor choices on alcohol like going back to smoking, eating shit food, engaging into conversation with Ray Carey.

I'm also on Day 7 of my 16 hour a day fasting which is working wonders for cell repair, brain function and overall health.

So, that's me. In for a penny, in for a fuckin pound, you benders

And I'm gonna be staying off alcohol til Xmas at least.

I'd have a big bet that Noobie Dave has fell at the first weekend hurdle too, together with Ludmond

No alcohol sales at the hotel today but I still managed a few cans.

    Important to keep hydrated.

Aussie James Squire beers has launched a very tasty American Pale Ale which I opened for a late 4th of July celebration (Hawaii time).

Opens with a citrus flourish followed by a floral nose and hits home with a heady 5%

^That could be the caramelised syrup toot. Turns the beer into a winter warmer. Might have overdone it a bit.

Looks like your missus is about to drink you under the table.?

I don't want to alarm you, but isn't that Hannibal Lecter sitting in the background?

Had 3 beers with the football Saturday night, then back to the hotel.

I did offer to head to the 7 to buy the sleeping Teetotaler some chocolate milk at 11:45pm, didn't get a reply but thought she might like it if she happened to wake up, and might as well pick up a few more big bottles of beer as a nightcap while there.

After a sweaty jog (brisk pace, watching the clock) got there to see the shutters down on the beer fridge thanks to Buddha.

Forgot the chocolate milk. Not that it really mattered.

Strictly sticking with Friday and Saturday nights now (pre-stocked).

Another one of your diet fads because you're simply unable to move each day, while eating sensibly?
