Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a bit self-conscious when after 4 of the 490ml cans of Chang, one gets to the counter at the local 7-11 at 11:50pm to purchase another 3 can after cycling up, and tries to hand over the cash with as little wobbles as possible?
...^that is not a question for Dry July...
One month needs to change to rhyme with wobbly.
Yeah ok Jaba, after Googling how many carbs are in a massive range of alcoholic drinks (that you're avoiding because of their carbs but now know you'd need to drink about 50 lethal quantities of it to reach your 30 carb limit ) you must realise just how ridiculously wrong your previous statement was.
How about another thread on one of your low-cal meals, just for those of us who don't know as much as you about calories either :)
PB is the reason I'm suspicious of Canadians.
Getting back to Dry July, well I haven’t quite yet... maybe tomorrow.
I'm now officially on night shift and dry mid-July to mid-August can commence.
I been on a ship for fuckin months without booze, are you fucking mental?
think of the health benefits you're missin out on?!
abstinence is a useful thing to do, but best in concert with a wholistic diet change... science says that your intake of fruit, veg, and protein and skipping of carbs can be subliminally scented by others. ... I was in Bermuda for a bit, and did an experiment, ate salad nicoise and porridge with almond milk every day, nothing else, lost loads of weight very quickly, but eventually I needed to get smashed on rum out of sheer boredom.
Nearly the end of month.
I'm still dry.
I decided to up my exercise through the month as well.
I've been swimming 30 laps of our 25 metre pool 5 days per week (pool is closed Monday and Thursday for cleaning).
Also my daily walking average is 10562 steps.
Just a few more days to go.
It was a long weekend with footy on.
Kept count and kinda wished I didn't.
15 x 320ml bottles on Friday.
17 on Saturday.
16 on Sunday.
An average of over 5 liters a night is probably a bit much. :)
The 31st is a Friday so that's the next cheat day. :)
Managed a Dryish July. Almost to the end.
...I'm about to start my Dry July marathon...wish me luck!...
Hello August 1.
Had a nice Dark & Stormy at midnight.
Congrats Tizzy.
I voted 'No' at the outset and I am pleased to report that I was highly successful at not staying dry in July.
August now. On to the next challenge.
