You seem to have too much focus on carbs (including sugar) and not enough on calories.

There are about 80 calories in a standard measure and you clearly have more than just the 'odd' one.

So if you're planning a 'diet cocktail' thread then think again.

    Made it till 5pm(ish)

At dinner ordering a curry and the staff reminded me I still had 3 free pints of Guinness to drink.

its basically a food group, ain’t it?

These bar charts always look like things.

That Ant LD MMA fight one was giving me the finger.

These are the only things I have drank since April

    What are you drinking today?

    What are you drinking today?

Plus an undocumented 2 glasses of sparkling white about 6 weeks ago

I have of late but wherefore I know not lost all my interest in boozing.

I have dropped the boozing-ball and I need a sozzle-seasoned life coach, red of cheek and round of belly to help me back aboard the swally wagon once again.

I enjoy a few beers after I finish work around 4.00 pm and have done so for many years now.

If I thought I had an alcohol problem I would stop.

During the covid lockdown I went without for about 1 week and had no problems with sleeping and functioning normally.

We could be dead tomorrow, people should do what they like, so long as they're not intentionally hurting other people, it's up to the individual.

2 days in (I started a day early) and heading off to do 4-5 days of jungle hiking with a teetotaller (24 inch waist and 10 years younger).

There are probably 12 step programs, or sit around talking with a group of slob dillingers at 8pm, and the like.... but will go with this more natural one first.

I have foolishly announced my intentions for a Dry July. Having a bar makes this challenge somewhat impossible to many, but if I can just get through the weekend I could be back to work before the next. Then nobody will know.

Nearly completed day 2 with no alcohol or e-cigs. It's also the 5th day of my 16 hour fasting.

It's all in the mind, and fridge and larder
