These are the only vitamin supp I take regularly. Just as that cup of coffee gets us going in the mornings, I find these give an energy boost though the day if levels start dropping.

Any of you junkies pissed out a kidney stone yet?

Talking of pissing things out, a couple of vitamins I did try after some advice were Lecathin and Zinc and was blowing out loads like Peter North.
It was fun for a while

Well there is enough evidence to suggest that you are not correct.

In hospitals they are now giving patients Vitamin C IVs. for some cancers and infections.

There are now being studies on Vitamin D supplements in helping covid patients as it is believed it helps.

Have you had your Vitamin levels checked?

It doesn't necessarily indicate a deficiency in the average inhabitant's diet.

Supplementation is a good idea, but some supplements are not really that cheap on a local's budget.
I think its also important to add that we are all different thus some may have varying deficiencies thus requiring vitamins to supplement their current diet. Being checked annually or every few years is a reasonable idea. But to just arbitrarily start taking a handful of vitamins every day is silly and expensive. Your liver and kidneys have to process that stuff. Just like drinking. Everything in moderation.

I eat 2 or 3 balanced meals every day. Do not eat too much junk food. I get my Vitamin C from a glass of OJ, I get D because I am out in the sun. I get calcium from milk and dairy products I have daily. I get potassium from bananas every day or 2. All the veggies I eat have Vitamin A and folic acid.

But again. Do what works for you. I hate pills both med and vitamins and do not take anything of either.

David, they don't work when smoking and drinking, eat natural foods you get what you need from them.

^ I also take both those daily. The magnesium was magic for my backache.

My mother carked it earlier this year with dementia. Though she was 88, she was a shell at the end, and I am worried about eventually getting

dementia, so am working up a bit of nutritional 'credit' by taking choline, as being vegetarian and almost vegan, I am going to be lacking in it.

Mind you, mum had vascular dementia, so exercise is going to be the main thing that staves it off.

...a&b: interesting...do you have any links? The links I found suggest Vitamin C is an unproven alternative remedy for cancer...
...c: after bloodwork, a physician recommended I take a vitamin D supplement...it seems avoiding the tropical sun has consequences...

Magnesium alleviates inflammation and my lower back muscles were getting tight and inflamed. Anti-inflammatory tablets only half worked. I had low level back pain for 5 years, then after taking tablets, virtually none.
Discs rupture as we all know, but what I didn't know is that they can leak slowly for 10 years and the gel inside causes muscle tightness due to inflammation. One of my discs is half its original thickness.
