BANGKOK (NNT) - The director of Phramongkutklao hospital, Maj Gen Supatchai Mekasuwandit, said the hospital has strengthened its Covid-19 screening protocols and established a special clinic for hospital visitors whose body temperature exceeds the standard, for further diagnosis. The hospital has also been prepared to accommodate its maximum capacity in support of the growing number of Covid-19 patients.


To assist patients who need medicines regularly, but must avoid contracting the virus, hospitals now deliver medicine to the patient’s address. Patients no longer need come to the hospital. Patients at risk of Covid-19 or having to be quarantined, can also call the hospital for the medicine delivery service.


Since the virus outbreak began, many sectors have been donating both money and medical equipment. The director of the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School (AFAPS), Maj Gen Kanokpong Channual, together with members of the Student Batch 61 from the National Defence College of Thailand, recently donated 729,999.16 baht to the hospital foundation.
