As part of a calorie and exercise controlled diet, its fantastic... Probably. The cessation of junk food mostly helped that I reckon

You don't need the expensive Braggs one with the Mother in, that's a load of snake oil

As part of my diet and weight loss, it hasn't hindered anything. It's all a culmination.

A bit like your car, if you put shit in it and don't look after itit will break down

though, uric acid doesn't come from acidic food.

uric acid is created when the body breaks down purines, which is high in various food.

Didn't say it does not work in some cases. Some of the advice is based on empirical data. But the theory behind it is shitty.

    So what's it all about?

Some sort of fat burner according to Obese Dilly.

People drink a teaspoon in a cup of water before bed, apparently.

Positives and negatives of a tablespoon in the morning and a teaspoon at night? Health benefits?

All just a load of cobblurs?
    It's a con
    That stuff is useless

Yep, but just about all the "acidic" foods are high in purines, especially "organ" meats (liver, kidneys, brains) etc, which constitute most 'processed' meats.

Had a friend in the US - lost 30 lbs. simply by ceasing to eat "snacks" after 8 PM. No exercise. Nothing other than stopping snacks at 8 PM. One year later he weighed 30 lbs. less. No other changes in his lifestyle or habits. If I remember correct he went from 210 lbs. to 180 lbs. or maybe 220 lbs. to 190 lbs. (granted he could and should lose another 20-30 lbs.) Said his evenings prior consisted of watching the tube and eating junk food 'til bedtime at 11 PM. Just stopped eating junk food past 8 PM. Still drank his brew, just cut out the chips, pretzels, peanuts, cakes and candies after 8 PM.

He is/was a steamfitter so his employment was quite physically active.

Use the mother for making a Sauerbraten.

I make my own apple cider vinegar, from organic apples. Add a few shots of it in my daily 1.5 liter water.

Good health results take time and can not be measured in weeks or months.

Good health comes from not eating too much and eating foods high in nutrients.

ACV is low in nutrients. It's a con. Total farce of a drink. Put some berries, spinach and cocoa in a blender with some real milk and you will be better off.

If you're still tempted to try shots of apple cider vinegar – just like Dr. Oz – here's another downside. You can damage other parts of your body drinking this stuff straight. Crowe says there have been cases where people who have drunk apple cider vinegar neat have scalded their oesophagus, while others have been left with a sore throat (which is ironic as it's often touted online as being a good treatment for exactly that).

Here at CHOICE we recently priced apple cider vinegar compared to white vinegar and found that on average, apple cider vinegar was $5.50 per two litres while white vinegar came in at just $1.20 for two litres.

If you love the taste it might be worth the spend, but if you're buying it for the health benefits you really are just wasting your money.
