Well, good on you for starting, Dillinger. If Cujo can transform that portly, pear shaped frame he had, so can you. You can't just give up smoking (as you have proven)....you have to replace it with something.

Change your diet and exercise regime incrementally.

Always a busy body sneaking around with uneccesary advice on thes kind of threads.

Never mind. I will start off slowly, then true to form, I will fizzle out altogether. This often happens to people like me. Those who enjoy a drink, a smoke and eating meat, often find their busy and interesting life too satisfying to critique others. Well done mate.

Some of these exercises are good, not sure about the GIFs (some of them look like readiness exercises pre "protein supplement"...).

I do a lot of crunches, as that does help to exercise some muscles without the normal back/neck ache associated with sit ups. I do about 5 sets of 20 twice a day for 5 days in a week - they are easy to do, so that number isn't showing off.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Nice Job Dil. That pretty much covers what I do each day except I use a Core Ball and do some light weights. There are a couple of decent YouTube vids for basic. Isometric workouts for balance.

    Keep it up.

Yeah, I agree - well done, Dilly.

&, hitting one of those marks, beating it, is a nice motivator.

Nope - Dill's with the program, no distractions, he has seen results and he likes 'em, seriously doubt you'l be able to sidetrack this venture. Trim 'n fit number one, smoke free number two, it's all from the neck up.

So go buy some!. It's not like you have to go far to find a McDonalds where you live, there's one every half a mile.

I've decided to pay for a month's training for Dill at his local Muay Thai gym as long as he gives permission for me to film his sessions and post them up on this thread.
Come on Dill you know it makes sense.
