    Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinics

There have been threads,...but an update is in order.

I have recurring tendinitis in left elbow. I think it's due to twirling fighting sticks. Ok, over-twirling.

I saw an MD and followed suggestions - maybe wasn't patient enough with recovery time. Regardless, I don't wanna go down the surgery route if it can be helped with some powdered deer antler or some shit. I have good experience with acupuncture.

Also, whacked my spine (mid back) with the same stick(s)...(I know, I know but it's one of my preferred workouts) and it's sore as hell, daily. Probably should get an Xray & haven't seen a Chiro b/c I think it's bruised.

Anywho, enough of my aging ailments.

    Any recos for the above?

I know there's a full fledged Ching Chong hosp. In PinKlao but it's been years.,.

    thx in advance

Try Stem Cell or PRP Surgery mate.

It has worked for a number of my friends including a few Teak Dorians.

Loy Toy suggested PRP treatment for my wifes exceptionally painful shoulder, the treatment was done here in Melbourne Australia, within weeks she was pain free, it also saved a $6000 surgery bill. Give it a go it works.
I should add while in Bangkok she tried acupuncture some 8 or 10 times, the outcome a total waste your money. Get PRP.

    Spine still hurting.

What's the average cost of PRP in Bkk then?

Hick: common sense, prevention is the best cure.

Sounds like its time to re-evaluate your exercise routine. Recurring tendonitis, doctors visits, acupuncture, all symptoms. You're overdoing it it. Time to take a good look at your age, the demands your placing on your body, and, the possibility of inadvertently causing a serious medical issue. As you've already seen medical professionals and sought medical treatment you've already caused medical issues. And, you already know the source.

All up to you. The underlying and undeniable truth is - it is you who suffers the consequences of your actions.

My personal experiences, my 62 year old body cannot meet the demands my 25 year old mind believes I should be able to do. After all, I could do twice as much a short 30 years ago. Why I've spent the last couple of years limping around and nursing my back, shoulders, knees, ankles, neck, elbows, etc. Man, just can't remember calisthenics ever being this taxing.
